March 2021 Recap

Good Morning, All.

Sorry for being MIA. I've been nursing some injuries along with my seasonal allergies. All I've been doing nowadays is take it easy on the workouts, read, and veg. Work has been busy as well. I'm normally able to visit y'all during my breaks, but it's been impossible lately. I do have an extra long weekend coming up so I'm looking forward to that. I'm hoping I can dedicate a day or two to do some advance postings.

Anyway, March has come and gone so it's time again for a monthly rewind. It's been an incredibly productive month, reading wise, but at the same time, I've also been perusing my bookshops more and more lately. As well, a couple of huge hauls from Book Outlet. Sigh. But. I'm being more conscientious about the books I've been buying. Meaning, I'm making sure all the books that I've been buying are being read.

I really didn't think I would be able to meet my goal for March of 20 books, but I surpassed it with flying colours. It just sucks that I can't review them as I finish them. That would really be a great goal for April. As well, I tried to incorporate a classic for March, but that obviously didn't happen. So I shall venture to try again this month.

I hope your month has been just as productive. I can't wait to read what y'all got up to this month.

Happy reading!

  1. That's awesome that your reading is going well! A lot of these look good and I'm still thinking of trying Lore. I'm such a sucker for mythology and mythology- based books.

  2. Wow! I really wish that I were able to read as much as you do. Yay for a good reading month! I am sorry about the injury and allergies are the worst. I hope that you have a wonderful April!

  3. Sorry for the injuries and allergies - I hope that April is a better month in that way. Great job on your reading though. I'm reading and enjoying Finlay Donovan right now. I finally got a book review journal from Etsy so I'm trying to write down thoughts/reviews after I finish a book since I tend to not review them right away and then I forget things I wanted to say.

  4. Wow despite being so busy you read so many books! I hope you enjoy your long weekend and that allergies give you a break!

  5. You had an amazing month in books! I'm so jealous. Sucks about the injuries and boy do I feel you on those allergies. Ugh, my allergies have been acting up too! I hope April treats you well!

  6. That is a lot of books. Great accomplishment. Thanks for the list.

  7. Allergies can be tough this time of year. Hope your injury heals quickly. They always feel like they take forever, right?

You did get a lot of reading done! That's great. Wonderful goal to read all you buy. I try to write a review as soon as a finish a book because I forget details if I don't, but it doesn't always work out.

  8. whoa 28 books! Wish I can read a much but I do know that's such an impossible feat for me. At least half of it, I hope. hahaha.
I hope your injuries fully heal soon!
